As far as I’ve seen, I have the impression that during a hypnotherapy session, the patient must be willing to trust or at least have faith in their hypnotherapists right? If not, I don’t think that a patient will feel at ease when he/she is being hypnotized… Are the effects (results) of hypnotherapy very different if the level of faith in the patient towards the hypnotherapist is minimal?

Yes there absolutely must be trust and rapport between both hypnotherapist and client, otherwise the process is relatively ineffective. For a more detailed response see article written in April 2009 Blog tittled “The Layers of Hypnosis with Respect to Issues of Control & Peace”
