Questions that formed the Theme of this Week

A couple of questions that have been the theme of the week with clients go like this: 

Who is in control?? Who did make up all the beliefs that we got programmed/bought-up with? And if there are three levels of the mind, the conscious, subconscious and superconscious, are “we” were in control of the Super Conscious Mind?”

Then another question that was about the mind and the power of the mind and can it be trusted, is a very, very relevant one… and its our limiting belief systems that prevent the true source of consciousness its wisdom and insight – which is in fact our own.

 ….. I think if we really want to begin to comprehend who or what is in control of us and our world/universe in general, then the question that you really want to ask is ‘Who” is it that is observing the existence of a “We”?’

 That which can be observed is not who we really are. To look into the mirror and say that’s who I am that reflection there, is not who you really are. That you are a hypnotherapist, daughter, mother, wife, friend, lover brother, husband, son, etc…. is not who you really are. That you are kind, loving, gentle, giving, selfish, angry, frustrated, etc….  is not what you really are. And yes you have emotions and feelings, but you are not those emotions and feelings. And yes you have desires, but you are not those desires. To think that we are what can be observed is one of the biggest misconceptions an analytical, or any, human being can make.

So to believe that I am my beliefs or that my beliefs will keep me safe/secure/effective/productive/loved/etc is also a misconception……

 The concept of growth seems to come from an ability to transcend and include all that occurs in life and to wake up to it as we go along. So we transcend (move through and beyond) the conscious mind as we slow down our brainwave activity, so that we can access the mickey mouse programming of the sub conscious minds patterns, work our way through those and then transcend them too, so that we go through them and beyond to the super conscious mind….. and as we transcend and go through the Super Conscious mind and comprehend “I Am-ness”, there is a continually evolving merging of Oneness with the Collective Consciousness…. the collectiveness that does not enter into the stream of time that could be called Consciousness itself, or Spirit, or Source, or God.

This means that God is within us, through us and beyond us.  In other words, through shifting our perspective from a first, to a second, to a third person perspective, we are able to sense and feel the God/Source/Spirit as being WHO we are, an external aspect of who we are, and a part of everything and all that is of which we are also obviously a part.

There is No-body out there that is going to save us from ourselves. There is No-body out there that is going to save Mother Earth for us. There is No-body out there that is going to judge or condemn you if you do or don’t believe that there is No-body out there. As Andrew Cohen would say, “We’ve all flown around on enough aeroplanes to know this to be true, there is Nobody out there, there is nobody out there”. It is just us and it is up to us. We have to wake up to this fact URGENTLY which means NOW, right NOW.

And as hypnotherapists we work in the doorway to consciousness, the door way to the Soul, to Spirit, to Source, to God. To not observe this is not only neglectful and un-intelligent, but it is simply unconscious.

WE are ALL one and as One, we are are Consciousness becoming aware of the Evolution of itself. God/Source/Spirit is a moving target, for God too is evolving. And who would really want a God that was not evolving??  God is a concept tho, not an object. Just as Santa Clause was a myth so too is God. But look at all the beauty that came out of Santa Clause….  Apply that exponentially to the concept of the Bible/God/any other teaching (they all say the same things) and we have a beautiful set of myths from which we can learn the lessons of Consciousness and maybe even still save Mother Earth and the Human Species…

 Soooo… that is what I believe is in Control. That which does the observing of all that is, and can be comprehended through the continuing process of Evolution, as a state of “I Am-ness”. It is that part of us that is formless, that doesn’t have a birth or a death, that part of us that is not seeking, has never been born and will never die. That part of us that just IS… and it is evolving. To have a belief system about something that is a moving target, means our belief systems too need to evolve.

Now our job is to grow so that we can take on as many different perspectives as we can so that we can better comprehend what this means in terms of the Higher Good of ALL.

So in Answer to the question, can I trust ANYTHING that my mind tells me? …. I feel we need to shift from our minds and into our hearts and go with what feels right. If it reasonates with you, then its right for you. And if it is right for you then it is right for those around you because you are in the flow of your life which means others around you can also be in the flow of their life. Have you ever tried to be around someone who was consistently trying to do a job they hated? They’re not the free, high vibrational, light emanating kind of spirit you are drawn to be around are they. Everyone wants to be around those people who are inspiring and joyful because they are in the flow of their life, doing what makes their HEART sing and spreading light and love in all that they do. Thats what I trust.

And just one more thing… I used to think I had all the answers too…. now I’m quite sure I don’t have a clue about anything! And everything I say up there is exactly true unless of course its not… its just what resonates with me right now as I continue the journey to comprehend what it REALLY means to evolve and grow.

Energetic Suicide & Angels

An email group I’m a member of has been intriguing me with certain questions that they are all pondering right now in relation to the work we do in our Spiritual Practices and the healing work of the global whole. .. and within me it’s sparked a passionate conundrum that I realized would be better aired on my own blog where I can say what I like… so here goes!

The initial question was in relation to a person who wasn’t even a client yet, but this person posed a question about suicidal tendencies felt on a deep Soul level. Another question that popped up along the way was to do with Angles and the debate as to whether they exist or not, or are they just more of a perception made by females? My input to the conversation went off on tangents that went kind of like this:

We are going to be working more and more with people with huge philosophical conundrum’s as the energies of Planet Earth and the Universe in general continue to evolve. So I wanted to open, what might be a Pandora’s Box to some and to others complete nonsense?! And that’s ok… I just want to share some links and some information that is helping me in my spiritual wanderings to better help both myself and my clients as I do this work in ever evolving circumstances.

It is not business as usual out there right now, and it’s not going to be as we are moving into New times, New vibrations and a whole New way of being…. And so we need to start looking at things differently.

In my spiritual search I have come to realize that Spirituality/God/Consciousness/Source…. Is in itself evolving, as of course are we. And as we are becoming more and more conscious as we awaken to higher and higher levels of understanding and comprehension, we begin to realize that we are in a process of consciousness becoming aware of the evolution of itself… and that to which we are evolving toward is therefore also evolving as a Creative Intelligence of which we are a part.

God is an evolving God. Source is evolving. WE are evolving. We are all One. Therefore as we evolve and ascend to higher states of consciousness and awareness we begin to become aware of higher aspects of ourselves that reside in alternate dimensions that we cannot comprehend in third dimensional reality… so we speak to them as if they are separate to us and put them in a “Second Person” perspective and  call them Guides/Angels/Ascendant Masters etc so we may learn to relate to them and reap the value of our higher levels of consciousness and intelligence/development.

The work we do in our Spiritual Practices with Spirit Guides/Angels/etc is absolutely invaluable in gaining a comprehension of this Second Person perspective of Spirit… but there are other perspectives that also require consideration….  For example, a Third Person perspective of Spirit would be to recognise spirit as in, and a part of, everything, the great wonder of all that IS that intricately connects the world wide web of life together as One. Second Person perspective would be to see God/Spirit as a separate entity to which we communicate and talk with as if it were external to us. And then a First Person perspective of Spirit would be to recognise our self AS God/Spirit etc….. This used to be the most egotistical thing a person could say, but now we are seeing that it is another perspective that has its own implications for Evolution and Growth.

As a Guide to the World of Spirit (or Different Dimensions to Earths 3-D Reality) I feel that I really do need to become familiar and comfortable with talking from all three perspectives (seeing as there are many more perspectives to take on after that too!) so I can more fully partake in the Evolution of Consciousness and wake-up to the realization that Earth really does need our help… NOW.

I feel that it is becoming imperative that we, as Spiritual Facilitators/Teachers, really do evolve along with the evolution of Consciousness itself as we transcend and include all aspects of our reality in our growth and development.

With our work, we have an amazing framework from which to explore the dynamics of this process of evolution becoming conscious of itself…. But we can only work where we are personally at in our process of growth and development – which means our Spiritual Intelligence. And I personally can see I have a LONG way to go before I can call myself as Integrally aware and comprehensive as I would like to. Along my path I have found much benefit and value from listening to audio downloads, talks, interviews etc with the likes of Ken Wilber, Genpo Roshi, Dianne Musho Hamilton, Andrew Cohen, David Deida, Karen Bishop to name a few.

Speaking of Karen Bishop… I check in with her regularly for her energy alerts seeing as I find them often quite relevant to both myself and my clients on the daily aspect of life in general… As the energy continues to shift we each react differently… it seems to seat itself in some as anxiety, depression/death wishes, insomnia, stress etc… comprehending the concept of shifting Planetary Energy has been immensely helpful to my understanding of my inner stability and has therefore helped me help clients that feel suicidal.

(I also recommend “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle as a good one to help people understand the differences in themselves as they switch to moments/hours/days/weeks of unconsciousness and interpret it as suicidal).

I just realize that the more I learn and the more questions I ask, the more I realize it is definitely not business as usual out there and we need to move and change with the times NOW. We are alive in the most exciting and unprecedented times EVER in the History of Planet Earth…

For a structure to help us better understand how reality is fitting together, and the IMPLICATIONS of that for our planet, and the nature of reality, I thoroughly recommend Ken Wilber’s “Kosmic Consciousness” (10CD box set) and “Intergral Spirituality” or “the 1,2,3 of God” (4 CD box set which includes an amazing Meditation on how to perceive through the different perspectives of Spirit). I know a lot of this kind of stuff can seem like a bunch of “content” and “words” to some, but the implications of what’s being said here really is quite profound and relevant to the work we are doing. I for one, really do feel like I need to pay attention to what these people are saying.
